GENERAL INFO

To ensure a delightful and safe experience, consider the following hints and tips:

As the Malta International Airshow takes place at the end of September, we encourage visitors to be prepared for varied weather conditions during this time of the year. While Malta generally experiences pleasant and mild temperatures in September, it is essential to be equipped for potential changes in weather.

We recommend bringing layers of clothing to adapt to varying temperatures throughout the day. Additionally, packing a light rain jacket or umbrella may prove useful, as occasional showers are possible.

Keeping an eye on weather forecasts before and during your visit will help you make the most of your time at the airshow.

Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids during your day outdoors. While there will be food and water stalls operating throughout the day at the location, please be aware that they won’t be reachable from the Spotters Area. It’s advisable to make arrangements for your food and water stock in advance.

Wear a hat, especially for children, to protect yourself from direct sunlight.

Apply sun tan lotion even on cloudy or hazy days to shield your skin from the sun’s rays.

Some aircraft produce loud noise; use ear defenders or earplugs to protect your hearing and that of your children.

Be careful not to cause any FOD (Foreign Object Debris). Dispose of litter in the designated bins to prevent debris hazards to aircraft.

Animals are not allowed on the airfield. Regular car park checks will occur, and relevant agencies may be notified if a distressed animal is found in a locked vehicle.
